behavior, probably
Particles and waves, yes—but behavior. Particles are like photographs, waves are like persons, undulating, possibly all over the landscape settling only in one place when we ask a question, but then, probably, never there again.

Discounts present and immediate
What we are learning of the reality of the world—this world of the generations—discounts the present moment and calls us to be present to a larger, more widespread moment covering distant space-time; and it discounts our immediate experience for the experiences of many as it moves thro’ time & does not settle in any one of us.
