Are these, can these, generations be alive for us? What does alive mean? We are changing. Constantly. Continually.

The Last Hot Chocolate was conversation in micro; The Book of Sarah is macro.
Macro or micro, macro & micro, whichever way we look, how do we hold ourselves together? What is a self, or selves? Are generations simply–& only—a collection of individuals? What if generations were a person unto themselves? Why do I try to conceive them, that is, to hold them in my mind, something at which to marvel, or perhaps a play thing?
