Maybe those with failing words
are traveling ever deeper
into realms where words do not avail

So what might be the advantages, the powers of being ephemeral? We don’t care: we can speak without unnecessary filters. We cannot be harmed.
The advantages of being ethereal are similar. We are permeable and impermeable at once. Stab us, and your dagger goes right through, you fall, we stand. We also are closer to eternal, holy, whole things.
The powers of being evanescent? Seeing larger, longer. Seeing life and death: complete cycles.
Elder powers are in giving humanity back to humanity.

Shadows on the wall
light plays right to left
left to right
I am taken up
taken up
woven between among
holy mended complete
