summer flies away
Look out the window
and just like that the summer
flies away: my life

The world makes sense
We say “I have a good feeling about these people”
Tells us not that they are more connected with the rest of us
Rather they are more conscious we are connected
And live in that concord
Every one, every thing, ever moving
A part of each other
More energy than stuff (movement stuffing us!)
Patterns, rhythms, events of one another—one web
None of us end at our skins
Remember Walt told us we contain universes!
:- Doug.
I am my own constituent
You and I constitute one another
All we can see and more we cannot
Make up each
A puzzle, a wonder: we
:- Doug.
Christianity as it is usually and mostly taught is arrested development.
:- Doug.
The creator: is at least all this, the all there is. Does it stand outside the creation? That is not necessary. It is only necessary if we see a three-dimensional world of things and time. If we see ourselves as part of curved space-time in at least four dimensions, then the creator is free.
:- Doug.
We exchange persons with other persons, and the transfer out adds to us, transforms us, creates us.
:- Doug.
I am seeing a world in which there are no ultimate things but energies. These might be generated by the larger, or the larger might actually be these energies and the smaller or larger we go, energy is all we find, energy that flows into mass that flows into energy endlessly, beginninglessly. There are relationships interwoven, and these might be the energy. So energy becomes particle or person, and particle or person becomes relationships. Everything is moving, changing, transforming, a roiling pot.
:- Doug.
Every person consists of all other persons. Each person helps generate other persons who generate that one. This is the one way to generate persons. Persons, not objects, forces. Every person a force. In every particle of dust, persons without number. The forces holding together persons are themselves persons exchanged with other forces-persons. The world can indeed be seen in a grain of a person, and infinity is in the palm of your hand. These mirroring relations are the primary. Interpenetrating events we are: conscious of our body: the universe.

An astronaut around space-time

If change is primary reality
How is the person next to you transforming?
So too you?
:- Doug.
So meeting with my spouse, going to a play, watching a movie, conversing with clients, leading classes and Open Spaces, are all explorations of the edges, of the woods and the deeps, paddlings of new streams, and part of the work of the true gift. Then I must record and report, and carry the message as far as I can, place it in the hands of those who can share it in resonance channels.
:- Doug.
So as long as I can use (and sometimes give) my true gift, I want to, I need to.
:- Doug.
Then I saw that my true gift is in exploring the outer edges of this universe of conversation, finding ways to describe it, and reporting back.
So I am going further, and now and again I find some series of words or diagrams which help us, maybe those of you hundreds of generations from now, take the next steps. I may be more explorer and reporter than salesman. I may be better to concentrate my efforts on more explorations of the fourth or higher dimension, to meditate/contemplate, to read and find correspondences and resonances, to listen, to combine compare and reverse, and then to write poetry, draw diagrams, and explore further. Leave tracks for others to pick up if they will. Invite to the pilgrimage. Explore not outer space, not inner space, rather reality space-time. Explore where no one dares to go because we are not. We are one. Same thing it seems.

“In S-matrix theory, the concept of a reaction channel is more fundamental than that of a particle.” (Fritjof Capra) In conversation pictures, channels and reaction probabilities are more fundamental that that of persons.
“The original neutron is thus seen to be part of a whole network of interactions; of a ’tissue of events,’ all described by the S matrix.” The original person is thus seen to be a part of a whole network of interrelations, of a tissue of events, which can be diagrammed.
:- Doug.
We are as people collections of events: we are our own Indra’s net, wherein we can see all the events we have met and almost met and nearly met, and in each of them all the others. So there is no such “thing” as a “person” only giving and events and loving. We are each a network of reaction probabilities.

What I still can contribute

Glimpses of ways to report

Processes and patterns and connections, O my!
Reaction probabilities are our age’s yellow brick road
A tissue of events we are our own wizard-ings
:- Doug.
Spirit seems to develop in the human as awareness broadens. A baby seeks a full mouth and stomach, a toddler motion, a six-year old reading, and at some point a world opens out beyond the skin. Someone else feels, needs, joys.
:- Doug.
In the ephemeral ethereal four or more dimensional world in which we live, we live.
:- Doug.
Our old pictures of time (ephemeral) and space (ethereal) no longer fit. The words are suggestive. Suggestive and probabilities go hand in hand in this quantum world for we cannot see all that is real, yet we can imagine it and calculate the chances that it is part of the real world.
Poetry is necessary.
:- Doug.
There is only one thing and one now, no absolute persons, no absolute time. Every “thing” and “event” is conserved in this “now.” It is all holy, sacred, ephemeral, ethereal, of the spirit. We all exist folded somewhere in this. Words do not fit, still they help. So there is nothing and no one left behind (that is a time-trapped concept).
