Our sadness at the divisiveness in our country is itself belonging and love.

Anger grows well in a bed of fear.

Reverence for belonging.

Worlds meet in you.

I am the grandson of a grandson
You the granddaughter of a granddaughter
That is enough

Are we the pinnacle?

Not here to make a better world—a better human community.

There is always something new out of elders.

Whatever we leave for later generations we won’t teach it into them: we’ve got to inspire it out of them. Same as what we have to receive from the generation 300 years ago.
