Taught to delight
“You’ve got to be taught” goes the song from South Pacific. You’ve got to be taught to separate yourself from Mamma, from Poppa, and from the world out there. So our efforts to self transcendence are in the nature of reminding that we are part of the whole, can live in delight, don’t need an egotistic ego. We can remember the things our English language is designed to keep out of our mouths.

Is there de-personalization in de-conversing? Just as in conversation we bring forth persons, by refusing conversation, we withhold reality and vitality from those who could be.
