My art form is poetry with persons.

Sometimes, maybe most times, we have to go to know why to go.

The edge of chaos if looked at in the opposite direction is the edge of order that crushes the breath out of a system coming into being.

We need to hear the voice of I-It: this voice tells us how the physical world is, and we must be in our bodies more than we are.

Perhaps poetry is the only language to express a soul.

Cutting holes in the board allows us to see the steps of the ladder we can climb. So it is useful sometimes to analyze, cut apart or categorize, so that we can find our way.

I want to die kindly with others hearing me. I cannot give you any hard and fast rules. Just: be kind; be gentle; be loving; be wrapped in my love.
I want you to converse together—you who love me, you who are able to see me and discern what aid I need as I do my dying. Some of you may have rules inviolable for what medical procedures must be used or withheld—please cast those aside. Some of you may feel guilty and that might cause you to want things “for” me—know that I forgive you and please, cast that guilt and those things aside. See me as I am. Hear me—take in my real core needs—I am in need of dying with your caring touch.
Death is an integral—and friendly—part of our life cycle.

We need to move from our core. And it is our core—one for all of us. This single core keeps us from running amok, and keeps us doing the things that benefit everyone—the whole—and that is another way of saying loving.

The reason people do not feel an urgency about the environment is that no one has yet to expend the effort to touch their souls.
:- Doug.
We cannot control birthing, only initiate it. Then we attend.

I need to take myself hearnow. I need to invite others hearnow. I need to open doors, windows, skylights—or I am not true to my commission. To send together.

There is a mystery. We are here to hear. To take in, to assimilate, to become one with. To heart meld.
:- Doug.
When have you meta community?
In each person you have met, you have meta community. The mystery of our true divine human selves. Divinity is hear.

Look at all the effort you put in to ride a bike! Stop with all that day dreaming and playing for once. Just think, if you’d spent all that time walking, how far you could have gotten! Be practical. Walk.
:- Doug.
Hearing is beyond—a step deeper, a moving across a threshold, the threshold of assimilation, taking in, making one. Absorption is akin. It suggests osmosis—a membrane that is permeable from both sides, flowing both ways. And indeed hearing is mutual.

The mystery of birth, the mysteries: How is it that cells can unite and then divide and become something that never before existed? How is it that a soul, a spirit, is embodied, become flesh to dwell among us? How is it that we are stirred, that our hearts beat faster, that we do things in response to this thing we cannot know?
How is it, beyond that, that when one of these beings, us, meets two or more of these beings, more of us, something sometimes ensues, something new in all the world? And this thing new stirs our blood?
Not everybody will want to go here with me, and that is fine. The seed will be planted, the thread, though weak, will have passed through two buttons. Maybe someone else will tie it off.
Birth is mutual: we each give birth to each other. How can that be? Like the old master who asked Jesus how can one be born again, we must indeed be born when we meet, truly meet. It is the purpose and primary effect of meeting.
So there is here, hear, mystery. There is birthing, there is new life. We are given this opportunity to live anew, to birth life anew.

It’s a job, it’s work, to seek the higher and the deeper within each movement of us.

We humans are given power
To birth ourselves
New individuals
Yet more profoundly
Whole, complete, single—
New us
:- Doug.
Life is poetry
Let us sing
Our joy! Our grief!
Moving with all our relation
Deeper, higher, ever better
:- Doug.
As hearing is beyond listening, so is conversation beyond discussion, and meeting beyond meetings.
