I walk in a winter storm
The snow, the rain, the ice
Pelt me
My footing unsure
Winds buffet me,
Hold me back, propel me,
Push me off course
I step into this place out of the storm
Meeting warmth and good people
Maybe at an unanticipated destination
Nonetheless, destination
