Elders initiate the grandchildren into larger and larger worlds.

Emptiness is what a grand has to teach: paying attention to the truth of the moment; not needing anything to be learned. Learning always happens.

Can our death be blessing—happiness? I glimpsed that death for most of us can be a blessing, in the sense of a happy making experience. A time of completion, of whole-making.
