Hold up a social mirror for us: How much respect does that show? Love? Reflection? Seeking toward understanding? Seeking for reconciliation? Are our words soft enough? Are we? Are we participating in one another’s lives or rejecting them, putting ourselves apart?

Money does not make one substantial
Substance does not live there

Telling our pain
brings us truth
and reconciliation
brings us to now
opens to us hope

People want to be spectators around him. And so they will ever be. People feed off his anger, feed their own. And so they will ever be angry—with him. Then there comes the day when they have to get to work with each other. Something must be done and they want to roll up their sleeves. And anger does not work.

Let us be conservative—of energy, of our home. For humanity’s long run over eons we can generate abundance.
