intensity as the flow increases

Life can never be understood as a property of an individual, for individuals stand in the flow of life. Each only has intensity as the flow increases—and that from the contrasts among them, highs and lows on a weather map and the wind howling from one to another. Highs and lows are not life but the potentials for it, the seeds, the pregnant conditions.
