I do not suspect this apprehends all in its essence, but I do ask if I have made a valid or at least useful metaphor. It seems it has promise.

If I am seeing something useful, then we do not have to own our differences or our egos or our accomplishments, all of which we will one day lay down. But we can see how we fit the flow, we matter, though we have no permanent existence, although we may be eternal too.

Everything is in conversation with everything—so it is that each expression leads on to the next and the flow rolls on ever creatively. In beginning is still a word…only it has always been beyond words.

Worse than not knowing what dying looks like, we do not have any idea what living while dying can look like.

Which trajectory do you see for your disease? Up, down, a bump in the road? Draw it, please.

If you want to make it to a wedding or graduation, how? How do you want to be there? What will it look like? Will you be using a walker or in a wheelchair? In a bed with a ventilator running? These may not be mutually exclusive.
