From grief and primal pain

It may be that a change of paradigm
Will happen in an instant
From a profound disaster
Or slowly like a person awakening naturally
Such as when the old guard dies out
Humans tend to learn and change
From grief and primal pain

Without breaking something

We can’t get there from here
—Without breaking something
—Without leaving the furniture behind
If you fear and freeze—
Stay behind and die

the ripeness

To awaken the human race
To awaken the universe
It is the job of
One savior
—Us—
The ripeness is
Now

all afraid of the deeps

I talked with the guy I wanted to last evening, something kept him from going deeper. We are all afraid of the deeps. Then I need to ask the question that invites this little thing out to play!

Shareholder a construct in the minds

The shareholder is a construct in the minds of business executives. He or she does not exist; so neither does the patient, the child, the mother who is the source of their work. There is no meeting, no caring. Only credits in a bank ledger. The shareholder is a ghost; the patient has dematerialized; life has left the edifice.
