a logic, a geometry, and a set of gestures

Conversation has a logic, a geometry, and a set of gestures.
Its logic is tangential, analogical, meaningful, transformative
Its geometry is circulation, ventilation, generation
Its gestures are It, Thou, Us, Poetry, Making
Conversation also has a hundred faces….

Reversing pictures

Playing with words
Reversing pictures
These things I do
Not to be contrary
(That can be good, too, yes?)
Rather to expand my panoramas
And ours

You are incomplete

I am not complete. No person ever is. Each person I meet is incomplete, cultivating me, cultivating self, cultivating world.

Networking: enlarging association

My big W Work: enlarging association, cultivating conversing, engaging persons in engaging the world. When I go to networking circle, I am doing the work, not advertising the work. When I go to a networking event, this is my laboratory, not people I can persuade to use my services. And I am engaging these persons in making the world larger.

Footprints in the Windsm # 1471–Lamenting the younger generation

Footprints in the Windsm # 1471

A friend was lamenting the younger generation not accepting our wisdom. No, and they won’t get our wisdom (neither receive nor comprehend nor apprehend). They will have to make up their own as they go along. It is the way of the world. There is no instruction book, and there can be none: each one of us and each of our generations has to make it up as we come upon it. We stood upon our foremothers’ shoulders and they upon theirs, and nothing is the same. Everything is moving. Ever. Each has no choice but to ad lib all the way. Life is improv. Or is it the other way round?

An uncomfortable place

It may be necessary to go to an uncomfortable place if we are to make things better.
