How tight your fist? Is there room?

This gesture of the closed fist in the open palm, yang in yin, acting and receiving, shows me engendering, and the work of conversation: we need both the going forth and the reflection. The world this year is all about taking action: dropping bombs, building roads, selling products. Thought comes out as ideologies screaming at one another. It is maybe hopeful these ideologies become ever more brittle, and when they crack, spill out their vulnerable yolks. Something might yet be birthed.
