How do we wish to be cared for as we live with a chronic disease—or several—that few are equipped to deal with?

True leaders are good, too. It is the job of each of us to grow the just society envisioned by our founders, the beloved community of our leaders of spirit. True leaders have this mind and heart, too. If they do not, we need to lead away from them to the good.

We are both left brain and right, a body and a mind, and stand in need of food and shelter and transportation but also in need of connecting and loving and touching infinite mystery. We have both good and evil in us, grappling with one another. Yet we want for good to prevail. We have and are all of these. To select just one is to lop off a big section of the sphere. Then where will we go? We will be stuck at the missing part.
