Not right by design
It takes some fiddling
To arrive not at perfection

What if we were dreaming continually? What if not just at night and not just staring out a window but every moment? Might it be possible that our faculty for dreaming, or the stream of dreamings we float upon, is continually moving through and under us, that the sleeping variety and the daydream variety are simply the dreams coming visible when some other faculty becomes quiet? Might that explain some things, like why we do unexplainable things, or fall in love?

Writes Jack Foster: “But if nothing else happens with your idea, if it doesn’t help someone, if it doesn’t save or fix or create something, if it doesn’t make something better or solve some problem, what good is it really?” How To Get Ideas, p 175. Which prompts me to ask, if you have divinity on your shoulder, if you are a piece of God in the world, then what good is God if you don’t create and implement?
