There are said to be in every cell of the bacterium Escherichia coli 2.4 million protein molecules, 22 million lipids, 4,000 types of proteins, 4.6 million nucleotides, and 40 billion water molecules. They communicate. But they communicate for a reason: life. We do not live because of information, nor because of communication, but because of flow of meaning.
