If we stand upon our heart

This is why I need other people

This is why I need other people. A small metaphor of G*d living inside my head is not enough (a reason is that our thoughts eddy in their accustomed pools, do not allow us out); G*d truly meets us in intercourse with other people, and not just through them. We are that of G*d. Our meeting is that of G*d. We are living in Heaven. We have all challenges-opportunities-demonics-divinity. It is our task to make all work together for good, and it is this that is of G*d.

we have so narrowed the words

Martin Buber suggests that relation has these things: mutual confirmation; cooperation; genuine dialogue. These help me understand what I am working on: mutual confirmation of which hearing is key; working together; genuine dialogue—which suggests to me that we have so narrowed the words conversation, intercourse, and relation, that we miss the larger world that is possible.

to put a human face upon the world

Seek to see others not as other but as others, to put a human face on the world, the masses, our challenge-opportunities. We are the ones we seek, not the problems. This perhaps (!) is Heaven. We are to seek each other out, not wall ourselves away from each other. We are real; our mind-made clutchings are crazy-making.
