to the larger….
What brings you to the larger need?
:- Doug.

Poetry is the work
of vision-seers
and prophets
Are you a poet?
This is your work

Have we reached the peak?
Done all we could?
Think you so?
Then you have missed the mark.
:- Doug.
Open space is a potluck of ideas, questions, stories,
wonderings,
Whos, Hows, Whys, Wows,
imaginations, stories, truth, spirit, and
hope

Change and action and love and collaboration and engaging people are me! Imagination is me! The me I have imagined is only a shadow of the me I could imagine. The imagination and its products are real, the most real part of me, for they say I am not held down to the past or the spectres or fates or skin: I am more than I am. And the human imagination is larger than me. I am only part; whole we are more.
:- Doug.
What we seek is who we are
who we are is who we seek
who we are is seeking us
a universe spinning and far far more
Nor simply capable of the universe
we are multiverses of universes
The key is not hidden
only not visible
Imagination, passion—spirit
are where we are more
than our skins and pasts
There is yet more to us
right there in the between of presence
:- Doug.
If we want abundance and diversity and love, we must plant abundance and diversity and love.

The solution to the world is not to get more money. What will we do when everyone has a Million? Whom will we get to do our bidding? Why ever would they want to help us?
Please pass it on.

We have many throw-away people in our day: most anybody who is not a leader: for we ignore these people and try to manipulate them to do our bidding. And we the people allow them to do this to us.

What vision did Jesus see? He saw temptation in the form of bread and kingdoms and selfishness. He saw jumping off the pinnacle of the temple as a statement of the wrong kind of faith or trust that trusts in our own doctrine more than in a real world which has been turned over to humans to form and make work within certain “laws of nature.” This in fact is the temptation that so many today fall prey to: if you pray hard enough, if you squeeze your eyes tight enough, you will become rich, famous, with nary a care.
:- Doug.
Salvation is a word used to enslave people, for the emphasis is on the thing to be avoided, not on the thing to be done, on the devil and not the divinity.
:- Doug.
Is Jesus about vision rather than salvation? Or salvation through vision? Words are not the vision: weak vessels to carry, often breaking. Recover the vision, recover what the man lived for. What was the vision? What did Jesus see?
:- Doug.
Live with imagination set free
This is the word of Jesus to thee
Meet the world with effort of mind
Here is the vision—the world I so loved
Remember my word to you from the first
Ways and Ways for you to bear fruit
:- Doug.
Jesus did not preach the disease
nor even the cure
instead living wholly
imagination set free
salt and earth working each other
:- Doug.
My practice is about caring for the fruitful life of my clients. A life is fruitful to the extent one’s flowers are opened, fragrance released, nectar drunk, pollen wind-tossed, seeds sent forth, not in the color nor fullness of outward fruit.
