Welcome others home. This is a sea change. The sea now flows the other way. The sea flows towards home. We had been going out away from home, fighting uphill, seeing enemies at every turn. Now we are relatives, friends, we.

Friend, I want to approach this welcoming attitude strongly. It is a piece I have been missing, one that makes this all a drawing thing, rather than a fight. This is a place you have been: home. This is right. Here you will feel at home, right with the world, doing what you came here to do, loving.

Why is this person your enemy? Why do we want enemies? With a small effort these can be friends. When it comes down to it, it’s all an argument from our humanity or it’s not a valid argument.

Invite, welcome, remind. Heart home. People come back in touch. Be the warm welcome. Gather. Bid people be good, true, beautiful as they are.

The group flow state is an experience everyone has. That being so, then am I working toward eliciting that?

It is fear that holds us back from all change. From one another. The strongest antidote, the only antidote, is love. Love is what we most fear.

Perhaps capitalism is the greatest engine of change in this world. Perhaps it too needs its own medicine: change.

Welcome home, my good friend
People recognize home
Especially
When they haven’t been there for a long time

Don’t predict the future
Don’t even get out of the way
Get in the way

Despite its great show of force, the world does not like to be forced. It wants to be welcomed to be itself: at home.

Suspending, in-directing, releasing even the new, opening: these are the gestures we need, and need to leave. Leave because even they start from separation.

This. This is my work. This reading. This hearing larger colors, wider. This writing. This poetry. This conversing.

We are not just a different self with differing people or at other times. We grow. From each touch of others. Touch and grow.
