Can we be about creating the past, exploring the future?

What if I sought not more people, but greater depth and collegiality? Since we’re talking of sociation and conversation, this would lead to many small groups for testing hypotheses and learnings, and a spread, if there were to be one, more organically. But the spread would be depth of contact.

Which is what I want most.

If people want to plod through life let them. But we do wrong to hold them back.

I am saddened that we prepare these good people a meal of common pablum, taking them forward by inches, rather than working to change their thinking, change their doing.

Who are we to say these people are not capable, not genius, not best, not holy?

At conferences do we confer?
What we hear do we run out and do?
Can we meet better?

The question is, do you believe these people can make our world better? Do you believe you can?

Give us conversations whole-inventing.

Is it money?

With one eye we see two dimensions
With two we see three
What would we see with three eyes?
What kind of eye would be the third?

Open Space is not about a method but ultimately about freeing people to touch their better angels, the better within them, to touch each other, to free us to see what can emerge. We can surprise ourselves—if we but listen to the genius that is already in the room. No need to defer to the expert from afar.

Nurses, CNAs, doctors, and social workers find their higher callings to help being quashed by greed thinking. We can stand up for them by speaking truth to power, but even more directly by letting them see their own creative powers to bring love to their workplaces in little ways and large. Give them opening to speak their hearts with one another.

People have this expansive side, mostly buried, and it can be aroused.

The way I want to reach people is to speak to their gentle side.

Your day could be meetingful.

Figuring how to live in a nursing home starts much earlier. Who are you? What does living mean to you? Are you the chef, the joker, the family historian, the fixer? What role do you love to play, no, have to play? Who are you?

Each person by virtue of being person deserves.

Emergence may be the roiling sea in which we are tossed and meet.
