What’s a person?
Are you a collection of organs
heart lungs skin bones?
Events, relatives, friends?
A meeting time-place of all these
for awhile?
What’s a congregation?
A humanity? A divinity?

Gestalts, wholes, patterns, rhythms, weaves, waves: parts and wholes. We have kidneys and stomachs while being persons. Our energy weaves, creating noses and toes here and there, unfolding smells here, smelly there, and us all over. You there, I here, us all over. All come and go and yet we continue.

No particles, no waves, no things, only patterns of amongs. So reflection is pattern picking finding seeing.

Participation is goodness
Reflection is truth
Their weave beauty true beauty

Participation and reflection: love and more.

When you squeeze the juice from conversing, what you get is participation in one another’s lives, plus reflection for going deeper. Still, drinking the juice is not the fruit of the matter.

Lawyers tell stories
Doctors tell statistics
Accountants tell numbers
All are necessary
All are life

Two essentials
1, participate 2, reflect
1, interlace 2, dynamic

Spirit participates
in the one whole

:- Doug.

Perhaps the test for life is whether this one participates.

:- Doug.

Nor does participation flow from you to the other
nor back and forth
instead outward spreads
as water is added
puddles widening

:- Doug.

Participation is a circuit of energy
whose poles
are giving and receiving

:- Doug.

Now the best thing I can do
for my clients is nap

Nor celebrate our differences
Nor our diversity
Rather our possibility

:- Doug.

To know and to know we know
is homo sapiens sapiens
to be proud of this is ego
and stops our development
while wisdom goes on from there

Not in hop
and not in croak
frog is only frog in frog

:- Doug.

To squeeze essence
out from a fruit
is not to have it full
only its juice
—wet and sweet
—without pulp and texture
so to say the essence of conversation
is reflection and participation
is to say something essential
and still conversation consists only in conversation

To reflect is the highest we’ve got.

To be alive is to participate
…in another’s life

Why do you want to know? Why again?
