Listen to one person, you get one idea. Put two or three together and you create ideas in their midst. Simple math. You also create motion—the courage to try. And you get connecting and alliances across company boundaries and confirmation of what matters.

We could host people and curiosity so far beyond herding them from single voice to single voice. We can find their rich, diverse, profoundly creative natures.

What people are making of what they are hearing is significant too—more significant in fact than what they are hearing. Everybody does not hear the same.

Point people to the larger—their personal need to help another human, to help the species survive, thrive, create. We need to be generative.

I fight the establishment in part because when I first met it I had not the skills to persuade it. Or even get it to hear me—which is reason enough for the heat.

Why do people want to learn? In part so they can let out their true selves and true abilities. Let’s work there, not on the tool: the learning.

Meditation/Contemplation seems to flow easily for me when I am in a state tired enough or refreshed enough that my mind just sits, too tired or too sated to jump from place to place. I can even find this comfortable old slipper place at other times.

The book I am reading seems more psychological than spiritual. Next door to heaven, with a solid fence between.

Learning and hierarchy are two different things. So are doing and hierarchy. They do not have to be welded together. They might be more effective on their own.
