It is possible for the turning planet to have in matter no still point. The turning wheel has no still point—every piece of it moves if any of it moves: only the axle does not turn, but even it might not be still, experiencing tugs. A turning star system or galaxy might have a still point, but how would we know? Except that in imagination we can picture such a being, and it draws us inexorably. In this black hole are many meanings.
