People want to be engaged in their companies, communities, lives. They may not recognize it. But they jump at the chance when it is offered. Why? Because it is a chance to give themselves to something larger than life.

How do you get people involved in public questions? What if…?

Let’s require a ballot every 10 years to disband Congress. It would require a vote of 40% to pass. If we passed it, then the functions would be taken over by the registered voters.

We have the capacity, mentally, morally, and technically to govern ourselves directly. Do we have the guts?

I AM the one who meets.

Each person, and especially each connecting, is an opening to a new universe. The center of humanity is spacious. It is spacious because it opens out into universes. Center, not inside. How big is the center of the earth, the center of a cloud? How big is anything? It all depends on where you, in your mind, set the limits. Is the limit of a person her skin? Or does she have a field of influence beyond that? In time as well as physically? The center of a person can be the universe; the center of humanity can be countless universes intersecting.

Profound change goes slow at the start, yet involving persons makes change rapidly. What is going on? Simply that people have thought and pondered their questions. We have thought together, in conversation. When we see others are ready, we go. We know we will get each other through the slow times.

Fuzzy logic reminds us
