A G*d who calls
A G*d who calls himself triune is telling us by this that the many are one.

No! The job is not to get the word out! This is a siding. The job is to do the work. And sometimes the job is to be.

It’s we who know the secret
—It’s only secret because
our others will not hear—
So we call to us & prophesy
If we go on this way, we surely die!
& no one hears
& no one wants to hear
The secret we all keep
So the secret’s safe with us
And not so safe for us
Still
It’s we who know the secret
:- Doug.
Yet what is the hope? My hope? I hope people get together—now—every now—to create a larger world. An inclusive world. A world that hears and responds. A world that touches and is touched. A world that grows and responds and grows: loves.
:- Doug.
Truth moves not
And love must
I’d rather be with
—And be—
Those who love
Than those who preach truth
:- Doug.
When for another we share our voice, questions and stories become conversations. Listen-speak: course!
:- Doug.
The world is one big conversation
My life wants to be one big conversation
Because it is
:- Doug.
Look for ways to bring the larger world question to the people whom you meet today.
:- Doug.
We are the ones
To show for all of us
The larger way
Just smile—
Frowns are unneeded
—Discover, share
It is a light response-ability
Keeping the world spinning aright
We are the ones
:- Doug.
It is about meeting, and seeking meeting, in as many moments as we can string on the necklace.
:- Doug.
Open space is not empty
Instead fertile fecund bumpy
Inviting
We go to it not empty but overflowing
Seeking to give without control
Willing to receive without expecting
Expecting limits us & we are without limits
To live in open space is to
Invite
—help
—engagement
—meeting
Be invited
—to help
—to leave
Be inviting
Help before you’re invited
Let invitations come and go
& not count the difference
Live it before you know it
Live it to know it
Open space gently takes your hand
Splash some on your face and body
Listen—give voice—listen—live
:- Doug.
Snowflakes falling
sparkling, cleaning,
making the world new
little pieces of G-d
:- Doug.
There is more to the world than we have seen; there is more to us than we have been; there is more possible and more actual; we are the more and so is G-d. We live in more. More is extraordinary and ordinary; magic and love and feet among the weeds. The world’s more is up to us.
:- Doug.
