there will be someone after

Might you be destroyer of
comfort
without intending it?
Or, might you be down on all fours
crying
I don’t know what to do with this
Or, telling stories
over
till someone may find
you
or something of value
Or, will you document
the sayings of
your
elders
and if so
to what purpose?
Those who came before you
with these you are one
cannot help but be—
you were born weren’t you?
And there will be someone there after you
you will chance to meet

blown by time’s winds

Did you come?

You are a pipe

What kind of ancestor—is not about the future. It is not even about you or what you do. It is about you as a pipe: What will flow thro’ you?

temperature-takers

What if we take in the earth as a living organism, a being with a need to exist like us. As elders, are we not guardians, temperature-takers, news bringers?

Footprints in the Windsm # 2484–Holy hole in time

Footprints in the Windsm # 2484

You can say things when you are with one other person you cannot say otherwise. Indeed you are led to say them. It creates a holy hole in time, a confessional of sorts. It is not there with three or more and definitely not there when one is alone—you are too slippery for you.
