I have now become a fisher of grand parents of a certain age—to come. Might I hook you?

Bring along a small object to keep in your pocket to remind you of something important about you that relates to our inquiry. You will not show it to others, it is only for your own fingers.

Maybe our long-term work is to ask simple questions and lasting.

What does it mean to live simply?

What is enough?

What is a worthy life? Worthy of what and whom?

We ought ask ourselves the questions we need to ask the later ancients: to dig as deeply as we want of them.

hearing the beats of your heart
nothing else
for fully sixty ticks
what will you hear
when you come back
into the other real?

I turn now to the burrs that this lifetime have been sticking to my suit.

Time is a wall constructed to keep the generations from jostling.

If we accept, what gifts come from turning toward those not yet?

If it’s possible to extend the mind then maybe it’s possible to extend the conversation to among the generations.

We are working on specific skills for grasping the gossamer.

Now to focus beyond one family on a whole people. Now to focus on a generation, eleven away. Now to focus on generating generations human.

I did not know what this course would be when first it thunk me. I will not know it except in the encounter. I will not know my people, these generations, except in the over against.

This course, my life, teaches me by interocepting, strolling, gesturing, negative spacing, nature. . .

These then teach us about human. They open a walk with the generations.

I don’t have to think of Monday, or in this holiday weekend Tuesday, as back to work. Every day is work, every day is open. How my thinking is changing!

Overnight in the wilds
now sprout our wings and fins!

In nature, time itself sprouts leaves & flowers & briars, oh my!

Ahh, to design my days! That is the first task.
