A glimpse: Aboriginal peoples of whom I have read seem to see people as a species among many, sharing. We tend to see humans as the regal species, in control. If superintelligence arrives at being more in control than we, might that remind us we are one of the many?

What is law practice not about?

Interesting it is to me that when it is cold it does not feel as cold as when it is say low 30s. It may be about expectations, or about dressing warmer for it. Or I wonder if the snow really acts as a blanket. Or something else.

watch over and keep safe
as one who depends upon you

So I like this technique of not answering the question, even just hinting at the question, letting it stew, thus showing that the thing does not have a final resolution where we are done with it and can put it on a shelf.

what is the good, the bad,
and the beauty?

We are going to grow our far-sight. The first thing we’ll do is raise our eyes to the 11th generation.

Raise the question to work on us. Relieve it not for miles, then reveal its higher ascents.

There is no answer nor ought there be. Only what continually works you: how to be a better breed of human?

What could get in the way of our humanity?

Technology can and of course already does get in the way, or we let it get in the way. Any excuse to not be human: that’s humanity. And yet.
