The future meets the past in us, the elders.

Imagination causes you
to do (and be)
stop at a red light
for you are law-abiding
there may be a cop to see
or you are helping traffic flow
held by your imagination

Plants, animals, and clouds we become for the grandchildren.

Only the matured imagination can serve the generations.

Aging might be opportunity for the grandchildren.
:- Doug.
Gentle hands on levers, softly open embraces, slight push releasing a toy sail boat on this pond: Elders giving to the grandchildren.

Eldering moves beyond personal development to world development.
:- Doug.
Now, what we see can help them see.
:- Doug.
We dim and blaze, go and come, pulsate: we imagine a better world for the grandchildren.

In those houses
Whose solar panels
Heat the water
The people bathe
In sunlight!

What to make of our aging?
