The day of turning
Sunday
The day from which
I turn to face
My week

The clearing is in the wood

The clearing is in the wood
The wood is in the landscape
The land is surrounded by waters
This wet globule is in the galaxy
And all this and more
And you
Sharing the necessity
Of accepting
This the the place and time we are

The fabric does not need to remember

A new sheet of paper
Takes from view
Yesterday’s poems
But not how they stitch your life
Still nor the universe as well
The fabric does not need to remember
Its weave

What draws you forward?

What draws you forward?
Higher?
What holds you back?

A clearing in midst of forest

A clearing in midst of forest
Our conversation takes us to
Courage here, trust to go into the tangle
Where sisters creativity and the next
Live

Then it takes me elsewhere

I see something
I start a poem
Then it takes me elsewhere

Synesthesia

Synesthesia
Each brings light
Gathered, the light sings
Its texture inviting us larger
Inviting us home

An enigma

An enigma
the more we release into the group our separateness
the more we become individuated

You get hauled out and hanged

risk there is in opening space
a big business risk
a third option may be found
and all will choose
what you had not foreordained
or you invest 3 days and
all those brilliant minds
and no one has any good new ideas
or some fervently held idea
of yours will be vaporized
or the group might explode
or you will discover you were never in control
and this truth will end your past
or you face a coup
and get hauled out and hanged

Beyond awareness

Beyond awareness
By will or heart
A felt shift of being

the larger risk is in not gathering

1 + 1 + … a together soul
.= awareness shift
.→ transformation of person, pottery, planet
silence togethering
spiraling seeding
.we converse for a larger collective
we are a larger
.we gather to share a risk
(the larger risk is in not gathering)
.we see and put to use our essential selves
we can name our world with more than one name
people get heard—no small matter
people hear more of themselves—nor a small matter
we can be wise
stillness enters and lights sacred fire

Stop, notice, this in not progress

The circle larger the circle smaller
You + me + the circle: three
And more: a felt shift of awareness
Stop, notice, this is not progress
Sometimes transformation

But we both want to

It’s a dance
—The next coming to meet us
We calling it via paths we favor
Sometimes one leads…
But we both want to
Hold and be held
And dance!

Let it find its way

A way we change the world: let it find its way.

Finding its way does not for me mean that the world has a conscious intention to grow in a certain way, like a person does. The universe is made up of each one of us and all the rocks and waters and living things, and each contributes to what comes next. So for one of several trillion trillion to change the course of the alling is difficult. There is also a general direction, a flow, a principle toward coming together while expanding, in some senses a compression and an opening (togethering-expanding, compressing-opening). It is not that the alling emerges from the parts, but that as well the partings are emerging from the alling (alling-parting).

We can find our threads

Your essential self is here, we can find our threads. Let us see our threads in the larger fabric.

Deeper: arrange objects

To invite deeper conversation: Choose some objects from the room to represent you and the live questions you are facing. Without words arrange them to tell your story.

Deeper: how would you see this?

To invite deeper conversation: If you were Barack Obama, how would you see this? If you were George Bush?

Open your intention seems an oxymoron

Open your intention seems an oxymoron
Only seems—
It draws us to a plural
