It’s not appropriate to humanify God
That’s trying to put on God
A collar and a leash

God does not care what picture of God we carry in our wallets; God probably prefers we carry around no images.

That of God in each one
That of each one adding up to God
Are these not of the same cloth?

Or sit at your wheel
And grind, grind, grind
And lose the bigger you could have done

Or set out upon unexplored seas
And be tossed by wind, wind, wind
And lose your life for some bigger quest

Daring here and daring there
But safe!
Are they not all
The loss to gain
Your holy round?

every detour leads to questions
life is carried in the belly of questions
every detour leads to another

The perpetual successions of
shallow moments
are not nothing as they go

Our world outside our skins is limited
The one inside our being is limitless

The edge of a tissue
is not for blowing
but for containing the blowing

The flow of words
Moving moving

No words can capture the full meaning of meaning for the simple reason that whoever or whatever we speak about is so nuanced, so multifaceted that one thought or aspect leaves out its contraries and neighbors. Describe red and you leave out green and yellow. Perhaps our mistake is to add on words.

Life, too, gets its living
Giving
So too the all there is

Don’t sell it, do it
(even if it means giving away)

Open Space
In goes meat and potatoes
Out comes fruitfulness

In conversing any one can lead
Sometimes
The group does

Giving that is relating
Resides in conversing
Conversing gets its living giving

Open Space is a pressure cooker
Start with a raw pressing practical issue or opportunity
Throw in diverging hearts, heads, and hands
Toss in some passion to turn up the heat
Out comes responsibility and action

I don’t create the space
I don’t even open it
I invite you to do so

Are you hermits? No, so come together.

Open Space gathers and concentrates hearts, minds, and hands to work on pressing practical issues and opportunities.

I am portion
of the whole, becoming
more full, filling, filling

Wholeness is unfinished
It continues to grow
Continues to fill
