The ancient face
The face of humanity
is as ancient as that of
a newly born babe

Many climbing boys, many branches, one tree
Many trees, one forest
Many species, one wood
Many living things, one life
Many stars, one

these insights give me nourishment today. Pull me to depths and slowness, another dimension of knowing: touching. Touching depth. Instantaneously. You are larger than all the cosmos, yet still present to me in this little here and now. You are as a field in which I stand and have my breathing and all my relations. You are present. You are presenting. For you are the stuff of which all beings are. life.

Your voice speaks your real self into the world
Unprotected, vulnerable, tentative, wanting to grow
The world needs your voice to grow
Your task today: simply notice your voice
When you have spoken with it
Help others to notice theirs

Holiness breaks in upon us not so much
Unless we mean upon our consciousness
Already here the one among
Breathes hot in our faces one and all

so regularly
conversing becomes ingrained
participating in the whole becomes our way
