Perhaps I do not need so often books that have conclusions and directions laid out for me, like Teilhard and The Tao of Physics (which I still want to read), but only things in different fields that pull my eyes. So the latest in biology and physics, political science, or something I have never heard of before. Go to a random shelf in the library and read!

Quantum imagination: leaping to the impossible, 6 impossible things before breakfast, leaping beyond the impossible: this is where we live!
Quantum holiness: beyond our conception, within our selves, in the midst of British Petroleum, Bank of America and the county jail come Saturday midnight: where can quantum holiness imagine to reside?
Quantum leapfrogging: a game for this age. A game we play where the stakes are our grandchildren’s lives. Every round we refuse to play closes a possibility for them.

What’s out there? What’s larger than you? Look! Yet you’re a part of it all!

I am unlikely…and hey!
Since I am the end part of thousands of millennia, one new number to average the rest, I am unlikely to change the trajectory much. But I can keep it on the right track—and it is on the right track—and pull it a bit more to the love side. And hey! Since I’m at the end of the strand with a great weight on the other, I could apply the leverage I have and maybe swing the whole, after all!

I am—you are—the tribe—those people—these peoples—the race—all peoples—all beings—rocks—rivulets—winds—things that crawl—relatives who wing across the sky—eagle far-seeing, raptor talon and beak flesh-ripping—relatives who swim with fins—swirling waters—spinning hurricanes—planets—galaxies—universes—great clouds of star-gases forming the as-yet unformed. I am—you are—the great whisper—love—hate—evil—fear—mystery—wonder—awe—creativity—destruction! I am—you are—what you love—what you hate—all you feared—or can fear—every nightmare—every running but your legs won’t work—every lover’s embrace—every climax—every failure to climax—every baby—every dying old one yet living. I am—you are—the big bang—the primordial mud—the lightning—the first single cell—the swimmers—the creepers—the reptiles—the four legged—the first to stand upright—and walk! I am—you are—the ever coming together—woman and man—families and children—tribes and then nations—and after all these millennia—symphony!—Dance! This is who I am—you are!

Let’s choose to take a quantum leap—to go from here to there without passing through what’s between. Let’s open our minds in one step, do something instantly, not gradually, do what we seek to have the courage to do someday. Do it this moment.
