Contribute also your curiosity and courage—your wings and heart to stand in for theirs when necessary.

It’s easy for men to think separate. But it’s easier for women to see whole and connections—after all, you see children growing inside you. You know we are all connected. So if you apply this to the business world, what do you see?

Business people are thinking separate, discrete, analyze (cut apart). How do we invite them to see whole?

What called you to business? Were you dreaming?

This year the elections come down to
Democrat and Republican,
Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dumber

The world is much more fluid
Than the solid one we think we see
Would we just open eyes & tickle & hug
What lives we might live!

Opening eyes might take a while
We might need long to sit and wait
We’re not practiced in that skill
Hearing & reflecting & being vulnerable still

Medicine is a friend touching your hand in the hospital, a doctor kindly telling you it is OK to say good-bye to your husband, another doctor saying people only die because I do not know enough to keep them alive. Medical care is saying we bankrupt our families on last two weeks over-care which is futile. Medical care is comfort care and going down fighting and raging against the darkness coming. Health care is all these things and more, and they are all legitimate. How can we see this larger? What is the picture of the whole that will carry us toward healing? Maybe we can never reach healing, but we can reach out.
