How can we as Friends attend a Friend who is dying? As we are dying?

I want to do cosmos things today. Today’s meetings are about those things—guardianships and Friends, preparing for new friends, Footprintingsm, email invitations to conversations, even client work. Cosmos workings today.

Cosmos is working me today, so I want to be ready, to tune in, to hear, then to meet. To hear, to go out, to meet: to speak and to hear, to stand in the face. Cosmos workings today.

I am working cosmos today. Touching, meeting, standing in the face: being touched, vulnerable, possible.

Vulnerable, intimate: possible. Standing naked in the storm: possible. Hearing, reaching out giving my inadequate gift: possible.

As actor withdraws from scene
As scenes roll on
As this story told is but a part
of the stories of each of the actors
of the stories of each spectator & friend
So now I withdraw

In meditation/contemplation I am not going anyplace, I am with.

Care is a thing done to a person; caring is a doing with a whole family.

Politically, culturally, economically, there are people who do not want to be saved. I wonder how Jesus met them.

I want to try consciously to have no image of God. Not even an image of air or wind or embrace or swirling. Not even of verb or adjective. Simply allow God to be, to meet you and me, without means, without even meeting. Even without with.
