My job as presenter is to have an interaction with you such that you want to invite further conversation. Nor do I need to sell you anything: simply invite inviting. Let’s invent a possible complication. How would you change the facts to make it a more difficult question? How might we make it more true to real life? What situations or settings have you seen? Then, Would you like to carry this further privately?

A border is a place where one says to another “Stay out. I do not want you.” How can one be human and speak these words?

I have often seen a difference between being listened to and being heard. Listened to can be silver, or can be steel. Heard is always gold.

Art and creativity are dramatic not theatrical, opening something in people not closing it off as something to be viewed not touched consumed not feeding. Art then is between people. Creativity happens only between people because true creativity starts a fire of creativity in the beholder. So its true work is in the betweens.

Open space is, conversation is, the art of the possible, that is, life. They are both a tool for that, and its very essence. Open space is doing, conversation is doing, life.

For a business to provide care for a senior runs the risk of warehousing—providing a place for waiting for the final summons. Yet…what if we were elders…and had a calling…and were looking for invitations?
