making a bigger habit

I want to make it a bigger habit to look for beauty in the day and people round me, to be hear here. Now is the most important.

What will governments do when they see they lack control?

The events in Greece and Spain and other places recently show up the danger that governments, even and maybe especially free ones, when they see more readily that they have no control, will seek other means of control, and the most imminent one is force: police and military.

But we are seeing what is going on. We can communicate and share photos and videos and open ideas. This makes it possible for us to open the world to other and better possibilities, possibilities for beauty, cooperation, interdependence, possibilities for humanity.

So part of our task is to help people grasp the enormity of their power: their power of insight and invite.

Bring the margins to center. Keep turning. Make life!

If we can keep this up, if we can have more people ready to see beyond a crisis to the field beyond where we can meet, then we increase hope for our grandchildren. Merely making known that there are such meeting fields increases the chances that some of us might make it.

We’re already in a place
Yet we need to move

I thought perhaps it was the churches
Who held for us the higher possibility
& Then I saw it is all & each of us

Plan for the next re-evolutions:

Plan for the next re-evolutions:

We do not need to march. We do not need to make a big display of ourselves in Syntagma Square. We can meet in small groups all over, connect ourselves with technology (even when the government shuts down the Internet, we have the technology to throw together junk to create our own Internet—think FabFi), and make ourselves heard through many channels. The power of the people is just dawning…on the politicos. Look what happens when there is a scandal about a politico: gone in a few days. We can appear, do our meetings, vanish in an instant, coalesce again somewhere else. We can use a different method of communication each time. We can plug into where the decisions are being made all the time…because we are the ones to make the decisions. Can we do better?

What good could 20 ordinary folks do together that one keep-it-for-my-own person won’t?

Two gardens

Two gardens we are given to tend
The one within our fence
The one without, embracing it

A new crisis every month!

A new crisis every month!
These are calling our attention
Some of us
Some days
Get some inklings

through me come bigger questions, ask

All my life I have sought a longer view. I wanted to see the grand sweep of history and our role in it. It turns out I have developed a skill: I see bigger things, I hear things bigger, through me come bigger questions. Ask what you will.

Footprints in the Windsm # 1180–Babe dying of human-caused famine…

Footprints in the Windsm # 1180

This babe dying of human caused famine…
This politico’s bile…
This hardness of heart…
Even this
Turns our collective face
To see we can yet be humane
We, even daily we, can yet choose
They matter, we matter
Grey matter, heart matters
