Two and Three make Five; Two times Three makes Six. In the same way there is magic and no magic in Twos and Threes working together in community: emergence.
This magic is interesting, arising here: same numbers, different operations. Do we have to do something different to make community? Yes. We have to meet. So people math works its wonderfuls even with two people.
What is the result we get? Merely that we have more centers, all strengthening the whole. There is something going on.

When we say a purpose is a goal, or this or that is, we are showing our own lack of clearness of what a goal can and cannot do.

We have all the resources we have and they need to be used for the ultimate purpose. The question is, what is your ultimate purpose?

Garden first. Lives can be seen in this way. It asks us what is most important about our lives: where is your garden? What adds greenery, oxygen, involves your being entirely, connects you with life itself? Where are you heard, when do you feel whole? Make the space for this first. Then build the rest of your hours, days, and life in ways that makes that garden better and makes those hours good.

Another problem with goals is that you become attached to the outcomes. Then the goaler becomes the goalee.

In groups, is transformation the same as or related to emergence? Are they both related to flow?
Transform: a qualitative change; changing form or shape or appearance.
Emerge: come out into view; to occur as the result of something; mature; come into existence.
Flow: move freely; streaming; continuous progression; full immersion in the work, energized, involved, and in the process; undistracted.
Something is added by seeing persons as in and among the centers, but not being the whole of the centers: persons come into existence as they bring the centers into existence. They are transformed from bodies to hearts, from wood and smoke and coal to jewels and oil. Flow is going on all the time and contributing to emergence (both revelation and coming into existence) and to transforming (persons are mesmerized with the centers and the other persons, they expand and strengthen the centers).

My meditation-contemplation
helps the world:
by just this much
things have gotten
stiller, deeper
So yours

There is something going on and we are part of the flow and white water. We people are more like the bubbles and the molecules of water than the action taking place.

War is affront to God
Who gives us brightness & youth
Strength & future
Yet we sacrifice them all
To our own pride, greed & lust

The most life-enhancing thing in the world is conversation that matters.

It does not matter what I do in any moment, in the sense that I have some grand plan. For a different reason, it matters tremendously what I do in any moment, for I can choose life or not, I can choose to intensify life—all life—in each instant. So I choose the wonderful. And know that if that is a large choice or a small one, it makes the whole better: just right, getting better.
That seems incredible, but it is true. So I can relax. This is life, and it is emerging just fine, thank you, and I am using my best and strongest efforts to make it more intense. Even this writing. And your reading. And what you do to respond.
