More seeing one

We have so many people in the world today, and a growing number, who are seeing the world as one, as larger than just their own family or tribe. This indeed was the view of John Woolman: he was trying to get people to see that they had a responsibility to all the world, not just the people in their family or their Meeting.

A distributed, WEaving G*d

A distributed, WEaving G*d gives new meaning to dried religious sayings and formulae: G*d created us; we hide in G*d; G*d in whom we live move and have our being….

The old pictures of lambs and babes and fathers are metaphors, ways of saying the unsayable. So if I hear something larger in them than people standing next to me, that is good.

Panentheism and G*d arising. Arising from humans and rocks and boiling flaming gaseous outpourings. Arising not as by-product but as generator.
