Bohm, seeing, knowing, and having legs

Bohm seems to be about correcting our seeing by getting thought out of seeing’s way. Many times professionals think that if people knew the “facts,” the theory, the overall picture, they would change what they do. Both assume that knowledge has the primary effect.

Perhaps life is more than this. Perhaps we need to actually attend the doing and the choosing of the doing.

Knowledge has the effect of freeing us, giving us choices. Yet we still need to hear the invitation and to feel the call. The brain needs legs and hands to start spinning and molding its world.
