gathering, bringing
We are here
not as a gathering of individuals
but as a
gathering
—more—
we are not simply
connecting
rather bringing
a new living being
into life

Beautiful, Doug!
I love the image of “bringing a new living being into life” (a singular One) — whereas “simply connecting” indicates the putting together of fundamentally separate things, various and multiple, somehow joined.
beautiful holy days to you,
love, Christy
Christy–
Thank you.
On top of that, I am seeing the –more–: the emergence we see when people get together. Harrison calls it self-organization, but I am seeing a hint that it is more than reorganizing what is already present–something more is brought forth. Meg Wheatley and Deborah Frieze speak about “capacities” residing in a “system.” I think there is something that happens in the in betweens, that is not resident in either “individual.”
Christy, can you find words to express it better?
