On cooking fish:
You can boil ’em,
fry ’em,
bake ’em,
broil ’em;
you gotta cut ’em and gut ’em;
you need to catch ’em first and
let the ones who are not ready grow;
you bread ’em
or spice ’em;
you eat ’em and say yum;
and then they go through the system and
to the waters and
to the air and
to the sun and
become something else all over again.
Your spirit is a fish.
